Our new location for Portland Pins is at The Green Hand Bookshop! We just brought the pin machine over there this morning. We’re reallly excited about putting the machine here, we’ve been talking about it since the bookstore opened, and now its there!
The pins are only .25 cents! So please stop by and pick up some books and grab a pin or two while your in there.
Find has a new website up! If you dont know what Find is it is a selective second hand clothing store in beautiful downtown Portland, Maine. We offer a carefully curated inventory of vintage, modern and designer clothes for men and women in a boutique setting.
It also holds one of our pin machines, so stop by the shop and get some new summer clothes!
Recently got an order from WRBC, who we have done pins for before, they have a very cool music blog which you should check out! If you live on campus you might be lucky enough to grab one of these pins as well!

Brzowski’s album Blooddrive Vol.2 The Wreckage Between features local illustrator Ryan LaMunyon’s artwork on the cover, who has also designed some pins for us recently.
Portland Pins we be at Shop-A-Do! this year, which falls on Dec. 4th and 5th at SPACE Gallery (538 Congess St.) in Portland. Come say hi, there will be new buttons as well as prints, posters and clothes at our table. Which will be a collective table of Emblem Studio work and Portland Pins.

This weekend I came across some interesting vintage 1″ pins. At the Big Chicken Barn I found a huge selection of pins (both 1″ and otherwise) including those pictured below (oddly placed on a hat covering a Phrenology bust) as well as the cool Charles “Plucky” Lindbergh pin. These FDR pins were on display on Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada.
